Beverly Hills Mayor Sharona Nazarian recently traveled to Israel for the International Mayors Conference led by the American Jewish Congress and the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The conference topic, AI: Empowering the Cities of Tomorrow, brought together 25 mayors from 15 countries with a goal to strengthen cooperation, deepen exposure of Israeli innovation and explore how emerging technologies can support municipalities. Nazarian toured innovation hubs and learned about AI-driven solutions. Nazarian also met with Israel’s President Isaac Herzog, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar, senior party leaders and several Israeli mayors, gaining a firsthand perspective on the country’s national and municipal priorities.
