‘The Nutcracker’ comes to life at the Four Seasons
Pasadena Civic Ballet and Storyland Productions invite audiences to step into a world of wonder at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills for the Nutcracker Holiday Brunch, an unforgettable immersive experience and photo opportunities, on Sunday, Dec. 7, with seatings at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m.
Guests will begin their journey in Culina, indulging in the Four Seasons’ sumptuous holiday brunch, featuring elegant tea sandwiches, artisanal pastries and chef Riccardo’s show-stopping Nutcracker Wonderland dessert display.
From there guests will be transported to the Grand Ballroom, where they will join Clara and a cast of 25 performers from Pasadena Civic Ballet and guest artists from Hollywood Ballet for a dazzling live performance. The breathtaking, abridged 45-minute “Nutcracker” brings to life nostalgic childhood favorites – from the Snow Queen and Sugar Plum Fairy to the waltzing flowers and mischievous mice – blending timeless ballet artistry with theatrical storytelling in an immersive setting.
The performance culminates in a Winter Wonderland Waltz, where guests are invited on stage with the “Nutcracker” cast to learn the waltz amidst a swirl of falling snow – a grand finale that captures the true spirit and joy of the season. The enchantment continues in The Snow Queen’s Frosted Court, a shimmering winter wonderland featuring three immersive realms inside the Four Seasons’ stunning Weatherly Pavilion, transformed for the season with flowing white chiffon draping and sparkling crystal chandeliers.

This holiday season, London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills’ beloved afternoon tea will be served with a hint of holiday enchantment. Each weekend, the Nutcracker Afternoon Tea will offer guests a selection of teas from the Rare Tea Company, including jasmine silver tip, English chamomile flowers and lavender earl grey, champagne by the glass, tea sandwiches, scones, and of course – a variety of exquisite sweets such as an “Icebox Cake” celebration cake (priced at $65 and serves up to 4 guests) with Valrhona chocolate, chestnut and ladyfingers, brown butter financier cake, chocolate, peppermint meringue tart, eggnog custard, brûlée, cranberry compote and gingerbread molasses cruller. The menu will feature limited-edition sweets like the “Nutcracker” with nutty black tea infused with toasty hazelnut and velvety Madagascar vanilla bean; “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” with whirls of creamy vanilla, ripe strawberry and a hint of plum; and freshly baked gingerbread cookies for warmth and comfort with a delicate snap.
