Detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Wilshire Division are investigating a burglary that occurred on Nov. 21 in Larchmont Village in which the perpetrators stole jewelry valued at $130,000.
The burglary occurred at a residence in the 100 block of North Gower Street, located a block east of Larchmont Boulevard. The resident was away from home and received an alert around 9:20 p.m. from their security system that a break-in was in progress. The resident called police after remotely checking security camera footage and seeing two masked suspects wearing black clothing inside the residence.
The suspects had already fled the scene when officers arrived. Investigators determined the suspects entered the residence through a rear door. The type of jewelry stolen was not disclosed. Police are reviewing security camera footage from the surrounding neighborhood in an attempt to identify the suspects and their vehicle.
