All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Beverly Hills presents the beloved Advent Festival of Lessons & Carols on Sunday, Dec. 7, at 5 p.m.
The cherished service, adapted over a century ago at King’s College, Cambridge, weaves together scripture, choral music and holiday carols to illuminate the Advent journey toward Christmas. Under the direction of Canon Dr. Craig Phillips, the All Saints’ Choir will offer an exquisite program to deepen reflection and inspire joy during the Advent season.
The musical program features a rich collection of works by Thomas Foster, Felix Mendelssohn and Philip Ledger, and arrangements by John Scott and Stephen Cleobury.
Bring family and friends to experience one of the most treasured traditions in the Anglican world and begin the holiday season with an evening of beauty and song. The entire community is welcome to immerse themselves in the spirit of the season and experience the joy of a cherished holiday tradition.
